With the beginning of 2025, various changes to the law of cooperatives will come into force, including the abolition of cooperatives with unlimited liability and share liability, the possibility of converting associations into cooperatives and the flexibilization of the obligation to make additional contributions.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Sch\u00f6rghofer comments on a decision by the Austrian Supreme Court (OGH) on the formal requirement of Section 76 (2) of the Austrian Limited Liability Companies Act (GmbHG).
