Our partner Paul Schörghofer writes together with Christian Zwick in the current issue of the journal Zeitschrift für Gesellschaftsrecht und angrenzendes Steuerrecht (GES) on the recently enacted EU Reorganisation Act. For the first time, not only cross-border mergers but also cross-border transfers of registered offices and demergers within the EU are subject to legal regulation. The first part deals with the cross-border transfer of registered offices, the second part in the next issue will deal with cross-border mergers and cross-border demergers.
