In June 2023, a symposium of corporate and capital market lawyers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland took place at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. The fundamental question of how the tableau of company forms has changed over time was discussed: Which legal forms have been added in the three countries, and which have been rediscovered or phased out? The presentations and discussions at this meeting have been summarised in a book.
